The guy has not been the same since becoming a fan favorite. Where has the big bruising runner gone? Where has the no nonsense monster gone?
The 6'4'', 264 pound running back in his sixth year has something to prove, or risk losing serious playing time. Last season Jacobs played just seven games while dealing with various injuries. He rushed for 464 yards on 120 carries.
Jacobs has not played more than 15 games since 2006.
With Ahmad Bradshaw nipping at his heels, Jacobs needs to step it up in a big way. The Giants and their fans seem to be falling in love with Bradshaw, and you can’t blame them.
