Can Ohio State finally pull it off this year? I think so. I am by no means a fan of OSU but have to give credit where credit is due.

Let's start with the coaching.  Do I really have to go in depth here?  We all know how great of a coach Jim Tressel is.  That being said, I think he will be a huge factor this year in the Buckeyes success.  He is the best coach in the Big Ten, and one of the best in football.  He will out coach all the coaches he faces this year.

The offense will be rolling this year.  Terrelle Pryor is going to have such a great year.  All the offense has to do is pass better. The Buckeyes ranked 103rd last year in passing yard, so they need much more improvement in that category. The rushing game is a different story, ranking 18th last year.  Expect big things from Ohio State offensively this year with 9* returning starters.

The defense returns 6 starters.  Don't expect the Buckeyes to fall far this year.  They ranked 5th in points allowed last year, with only 12.5 pts per game.  No matter what OSU always has an outstanding defense.

The Buckeyes should go unscathed this year, with only a few close games.  Playing Miami at home is a key game and will show exactly where the Buckeyes are.  Conference play should not be a problem, even with how good the Big Ten will be this year. OSU is far better then the rest of their conference, especially with an overrated Iowa squad.
