Leinart-Young Preview: Leinart Looks to Solidify Starting Job

Matt Leinart and Vince Young, two Heisman Trophy winning quarterbacks will lead their teams in preseason matchup on Monday night.
Leinart and Young have met before in the BCS Championship just a couple of years ago, but nothing quite like that is on stake for Monday's game.
Despite the game being a "meaningless" preseason one, it's not so "meaningless" for Leinart.
Leinart, who was thought to be the replacement for future Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, has been getting some "heat" and pressure throughout training camp from former Cleveland Browns' quarterback Derek Anderson
Monday's game can be a big one for Leinart, as he might be able to "bury" Anderson in the quarterback battle and take the starting job.
Leinart has silenced some critics after last weeks performance against the Houston Texans.
Leinart was impressive and near perfect. He completed six of his seven passes while racking up 49 passing yards. Despite Leinart's solid performance, Arizona didn't put up any points.
On the other side, Derek Anderson didn't look very well at all. He finished the game with a terrible 45.3 passer rating.
Leinart has the talent, but he has yet to have a breakout year.
This could be the one.
