Maple Leafs Notes: Mats Sundin Still Undecided, More on Leafs Talk Radio Show

Mats Sundin

Well, at first he heard Friday, August 1 was the deadline.  As it got closer, it became a "soft deadline."  Then, as it turned out, August 1 came and went without a sound.

Alas, the Mats Sundin saga, which many thought would be over by now, is still going, and doesn't seem to have any signs of coming to a resolution soon.

"Not even close" was Sundin's agent J.P. Barry's response when asked on where Sundin stood on making a decision on next year.

Not only is Sundin deciding who to play with, but simply, will he play at all.

The Future Of Leafs Talk Today

As many of you know, myself and Josh Lewis host a radio show on youcastr called "Leafs Talk Today."

Since then, Alan Bass, Greg Caggiano, and Matt Eichel have all joined the party and us Bleacher Creatures (may I suggest we call ourselves the "Frat Pack?") have taken youcastr by storm.

If you haven't already, be sure to listen to any of the shows by these talented guys.

As for Leafs Talk Today, we have done some very cool stuff so far, and it's only going to get better.

More new segments, the same favourites, and a whole lot more will be returning very soon.

Although we don't have a concrete date yet, it looks as though the show will change time slots, and will return shortly bigger, and better than ever.

Just a reminder on our next show, among other things, we will be previewing the northwest division, and as a special treat, we will also have the privilege of having a guest on our show—a very special guest, an NHL player who just happens to call the Northwest Division his home.
