Bradford's N.F.L. preseason debut was horrific. He completed six of 13 passes for 57 yards. However, the Rams played the Minnesota Vikings. What did everyone expect? A rookie against last year's second best defense. He wasn't going against the Raiders or some other weak team. That could have made a difference.
On the other side, a quarterback in desperate need of resurgence stepped it up. Jake Delhomme had his way against the Packers, completing six of seven passes for 66 yards, which set up a Jerome Harrison four yard touchdown. Granted that was one possession, but that might be a sign of things to come. Delhomme really needs to resurrect his career.
The Rams will travel to Cleveland to face the Browns this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. This is a heavily anticipated game due to the quarterback match-up. It will be very interesting to see how this goes down.
