Fantasy Baseball Week 21 Waiver Wire

Last week saw waiver wire pitcher Brett Myers have an impressive outing.

He allowed one run in seven innings pitched while striking out seven.

With the Fantasy season only weeks away from ending, there are still viable options for Fantasy owners to consider.

 

 

Starting Pitchers in Focus: Jeremy Hellickson

Upon his call up in August, Hellickson has done very well in his first three starts. Over that span, he is 3-0 with an ERA of 1.35.  He is holding opponents to a .136 batting average.

Hellickson's next start is on the road against the Oakland Athletics, who have struggled all year to score runs. The A’s rank 26th in the major leagues in OPS and runs scored. They rank last in baseball in home runs hit with 71.

Hellickson is owned in 63 percent of ESPN leagues; Fantasy owners in need of a valuable starter down the stretch should add him for Week 21...
