Quick Recruiting Note: RB Brown Picks Texas Over Crimson Tide

After having to decide between the Longhorns and the Crimson Tide, Malcolm Brown has made his decision to play for the Longhorns in 2011.

Brown, who has been compared to former Texas great Cedric Benson, is the 10th-ranked recruit overall and the No. 1 recruit at runningback.

After losing out on Austin Seferian-Jenkins, the Longhorns score huge on a player that will make Mack Brown's transition into a running-focused offense much smoother.

Longhorns fans, celebrate this one. This is a huge signing. Look forward to big years of power running. Hook 'em.
