Minka Kelly and the 20 Hottest TV Show WAGS of All Time

That lovely lady to the left is Minka Kelly.

She’s dated actor Chris Evans and musician John Mayer in the past.

But the lucky guy who will wake up to that beautiful face every morning is none other than Derek Jeter.

The New York Yankees shortstop is set to tie the knot with the “Friday Night Lights” actress this November.

I think I speak for all men when I say that looking at the future Mrs. Jeter is the same as a dear staring into headlights. It’s inevitable.

Though Minka is one of the hottest TV show WAGS – that stands for wives and girlfriends of athletes – she certainly isn’t the only one.

20. LaLa Vasquez

Best known as a television personality on MTV and the host of VH1 shows like Flavor of Love 2 and I Love New York 2, Vasquez has a new title: Mrs. Carmelo Anthony.

The two stars were married this July in New York.

Perhaps a sign of where Melo will be playing soon?

19. Stephenie LaGrossa

The first of two Philadelphia Phillies star with a hot wife.

LaGrossa, a former three-time Survivor contestant, is the wife of Kyle Kendrick. She never won the show, but I think we can agree that we’re all winners here.

18. Hilary Duff

Best known for her role as Lizzie Mcguire on the self-titled show, Hillary Duff has dated her fair share of celebrities, including Aaron Carter and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte fame.

But after Duff decided she was done dating singers, the actress started seeing NHL player Mike Comrie. The two were married this weekend in Santa Barbara, California.

17. Cameron Diaz

This may be a little bit of bending the rules here, but Diaz has appeared on three episodes of Saturday Night Live in recent years, so that’s enough to include her on this list.

Diaz joins Madonna, Kate Hudson and many more on the list of starlets who have fallen under the spell of Alex Rodriguez.

I’m not sure what it is about this guy, but he seems to wreaking havoc through Hollywood. Let’s see if Diaz outlasts the other actresses A-Rod has dated.

16. Bianca Kajlich

Kajlich currently stars on the CBS’ “Rules for Engagment” and has appeared in movies such as “Bring It On” and “10 Things I Hate About You.”

One thing I hate about Kajlich?

She married U.S. soccer star Landon Donovan, the two separated, but now appear to be back together.

There goes my chances.

15. Rosa Blasi

Rosa’s biggest TV credit is her role on Strong Medicine from 2000-2006. She also appeared on Make It or Break It and Lone Star in recent years.

Former New York Giants fullback Jim Finn was Mr. Irrelevant in the 1999 NFL Draft.

The fact that he married her in 2004 instantly makes him relevant in my book.

14. Jennifer Freeman

Best known for her role on My Wife and Kids, Freeman is married to NBA player Earl Watson.

She hasn’t done much since the series ended, but I don’t discriminate. She’s still looking good these days

13. Kendra Wilkinson

Say what you want about her laugh. It makes me want to go deaf, too

But you can’t deny that the former Girls Next Door and current Kendra star looks pretty damn good. And she loves sports.

Wilkinson is married to NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett, who tends to have trouble securing a job in the league.

Even so, I don’t foresee money problems in their near future. Kendra Exposed will be raking in millions for years to come.

12. Carrie Underwood

Dallas Cowboy fans know Underwood all too well.

The former American Idol winner dated Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford before settling down with Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher.

The two wed on July 10, 2010.

If Fisher is smart, he’ll think before he cheats. Or just not cheat at all.

11. Gabrielle Union

Union has appeared in several movies and TV shows, and was most recently seen on the lone season of ABC’s Flash Forward.

Union is apparently dating Dwyane Wade now. First, Lebron and Bosh. Now, Gabrielle Union. I’d say Wade should be satisfied with his life right about now.

10. Meagan Good

If you’re like me and you grew up in the 90s, you might remember Meagan Good from her two-episode stint on The Famous Jett Jackson.

But the 29-year-old actress also appeared on House and My Wife and Kids in addition to playing “that smoking hot girl” in moves like You Got Served and Stomp the Yard.

These days Good is dating Kansas Chiefs running back Thomas Jones, so it’s safe to say that when he’s not scoring touchdowns, he’ll be, um, scoring touchdowns.

9. Heidi Hamels

The wife of Phillies star Cole Hamels, Heidi is a former Playboy Model and was a contestant on “Survivor.”

Does that count as a TV show WAG? Absolutely.

8. Brittany Binger

Remember when Grady Sizemore sent those pictures of himself that were leaked on the Internet?

They were apparently meant for this girl. Her name is Brittany Binger.

Binger is a former Playboy Playmate who has appeared on shows such as Deal or No Deal and The Girls Next Door.

I’m honestly unsure if they’re still together, but I don’t think we would know who she is had Sizemore’s unfortunate incident never happened.

So thank you for that.

7. Joanna Garcia

These Yankees sure do mop up, don’t they?

Garcia, best known for her TV roles on Reba and Privileged, is engaged to Nick Swisher.

It’s amazing how these New York players manage to win with all these distractions around the clubhouse.

6. Lauren Pope

Pope apparently is an accomplished DJ, and also appeared on Britain’s “Tycoon.”

Shaun Wright-Phillips apparently plays soccer for Manchester City.

I was unfamiliar with both of these facts. I’m glad that is no longer the case.

Note: There are A LOT of European soccer players who are dating ridiculously gorgeous European women. I stuck with people familiar to Americans for the most part, but had to include Pope. I just couldn’t keep her out of the slideshow.

5. Eva Longoria

The “Desperate Housewives” star is frequently seen on the sidelines of San Antonio Spurs games cheering on her husband Tony Parker.

As if winning all those titles wasn’t enough for Parker, he gets to go home to Eva every night.

I’m a firm believer that Lil Wayne’s song “Ms. Parker” was written specifically about her. Trust me. Download it, and you’ll see.

4. Gemma Atkinson

Cristiano Ronaldo, I applaud you. (You’ll see why later).

Ronaldo has dated his fair share of women despite those rumors out there about him, and Atkinson is one of the finest.

She has appeared on several reality shows -- the names of which I won’t bore you with right now – and also dated Birmingham City star Marcus Bent.

I’m unfamiliar with the show since I’m not from Britain, but she makes me wish I was.

She was married to Chelsea football player Ashley Cole, but the two divorced in May.

Those Kardashian sisters have worked their way through a number of professional athletes.

Khloe is married to Lamar Odom, while Kim dated Reggie Bush and Miles Austin before moving on to her current beau, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hands down, Kim takes the crown as the hottest Kardashian sister.

And even though she may be old news, I can’t find anything wrong with her physical appearance.

I have a feeling it’ll be a long time before any TV star can dethrone Kim Kardashian as the hottest TV show WAG.

Who Did I Forget?

In reality, this list could probably extend well into the hundreds.

There are so many athletes who date television stars that I could very well spend all of my time for the next three weeks compiling a complete list. And still not finish.
