DISAPPOINTING! Is the only word I have to describe the "biggest event of summer". Oh, man, I still can't believe it! I stood for what seemed like an hour after all was over with my eyes fixed on the screen, my mouth wide open, and my hands in my head like trying to pull my hair off. Last image of the day: John "f***ing coc*****er Superman Cena, and his stupid grin. BIG NO NO, BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?? HOW COULD THEY DO, HOW COULD THEY KILL THE MOST AWESOME STORYLINE IN YEARS JUST TO GIVE MORE GLORY TO A MAN THAT HAS ACHIEVED EVERYTHING ALREADY!!! I mean, what's the point??? JOHN CENA DOESN'T NEED MORE GLORY, WWE!
But...... (sighs) OK, let's get this deal with:
There's not much to say anyways:
Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler(c): went to a no contest after Nexus attacked both
Melina vs Alicia Fox(c): no surprise, Melina regained her title.
Big SHow vs the SES: no surprise here either, at least not for me. Big Show pinned Mercury and Gallows. The SES is done since Mysterio shaved Punk's head. It had a lot of steam before, and it could have been an interesting thing to see if Mysterio joined Punk, but again WWE..... OK, just drop the gimmick already, it's pointless and boring.
Randy Orton vs Sheamus(c): big letdown right here, I expected HHH to come back, or a clean victory after the statement by the GM of no intervention. Championship matchs must be made NO DQ. Not a bad match, but nothing special. Orton wins by DQ, Sheamus retains.
Rey Mysterio vs Kane(c): the best singles match of the night. Excellent performance by both, and nice surprise of Kane winning and dominance. Taker returning was expected, but I didn't expect Kane to do a Thombstone on him. I liked it.
Team WWE vs The Nexus: well, the icing of the cake. It was an exciting match. Danyelson proved once and for all that he is indeed a superstar, and now I believe he will be feuding with Miz. Skip Sheffield impressed me like always, he reminds me of Batista and JBL. Bret did more than I thought he could, wow, even a body slam! And yeah, the ending. Superman Cena overcame the odds for the like.... how many times already? Countless, I guess. He pinned Gabriel and made Wade Barrett tap out, and killed the most awesome and interesting storyline in the WWE in the past few years.
I laughed. Now don't get me wrong. I was really pissed off, but I kept asking myself: do the WWE expect to gain ratings now?? Do they expect to sell merchandise of the NEXUS?? What's next for Cena? Man, just dare the whole freaking roster of the company to face him, beat 'em, and proclame himself the King Invincible of the Kids.
So mates, I thank you so much for your reading. This is the last article I'm going to do about WWE. I have had enough. I quit, just not gonna watch anymore. Good luck to you all, and may God, Allah, or whoever you believe in bless you.
Yours truly, Rick Daniels.
