For the second night in a row Aaron Heilman suffered the loss, but this time he got help from Billy Wagner as the Mets once again couldn't hold a lead and fell to the Astros 5-4 in 10 innings.

The Mets fell two games back of the first place Phillies and now sit in third place, a 1/2 game behind the Marlins.

After coming so close to going to the World Series in 2006 the Mets bullpen is proving to be the ultimate reason why this team is on the decline and will once again fail to make the post season.  They have plenty of time to prove otherwise but based on the failures on their pen, it hardly seems likely.
