Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods & 13 Sports Superstitions On Friday the 13th

The man looking so animated in the picture is not, despite popular belief, a wedding singer or 70s porn star. The man is one of the musical legends of our time, Stevie Wonder.

One of his most well known songs?

Superstition.

Mr. Wonder knew how so many people in this world fall victim to their “routines.” People do one thing weird, it ends up working out, and then they keep doing it, regardless if it makes them a lock for a ticket to Bethlem Royal in London.

And no group of people does this more than athletes.

There are all sorts of wacky superstitions in sports. Some stars still obey the fourth-grade motto “step on a crack, break your mother’s back,” some want complete silence when doing well, and some just want one meal for their whole life.

But these 13 fellas are the kings of it. The list combines people who never should have superstitions with people who did things that would make Tom Cruise on Oprah look docile.

So let’s get freaky!
