Tyler Graunke was in the race for the coveted starting quarterback position at the University of Hawaii, after Colt Brennan graduated. However, it has recently been reported that the fifth-year senior will miss the start of training camp as per personal issues.
Coach Greg McMackin could only say that Graunke would miss the start of camp and that he could not comment on the situation because of privacy laws.
With Graunke out for the first week of training camp, quarterbacks Greg Alexander, Brent Rausch, and Inoke Funaki will receive an equal amount of reps. He will hope to work on this matter and get back in time as soon as possible.
