Fantasy Football Guide, Part 7: Free Agency and the Waiver Wire

Okay, so it’s the day after the draft and you got every player you were looking for. You’ve got a QB situation you feel good about, you’re deep at WR and RB, you got a quality defense, and all that.
But that still probably isn’t enough to win your league.
In this age of platoons, explosive rookies, prima donna WRs, and Pittsburgh Steelers actively ruining lives both on and off the field, things will happen to hurt your team, and opportunities to strengthen your team will present themselves.
You will absolutely need to address these if you want to win.
Different leagues have different ways to acquire players and I’d be here the rest of my life describing all of them to you.
But the bottom line is that you need to keep close tabs on the entire NFL.
You need to be able to capitalize on every week, identifying players with rising value, watching out for injuries, and even sabotaging your fellow managers from being able to do the same.
