Swimmers may be some of the most underrated hotties in the world.

This is typically because they only appear on the national radar once every four years.

So this is the perfect time to look at some of the hotties that enter the pool.

15. Libby Trickett & Jo Fargus

Am I cheating? Yes.

The good thing is that I don't have to worry about a gold medal being taken away for doing it.

Trickett is on the left, and Fargus on the right.

13. Leisel Jones

Leisel Jones is an Australian swimmer who has won five medals in her last three appearances at the Summer Olympics.

I might add, she is also very attractive. I wouldn't mind saying G'Day to her.

12. Laure Manaudou

In 2004, Laure Manaudou was the first French female to win a gold medal in an Olympic swimming competition. She also won a silver, and a bronze that year.

She is also guilty of what many other athletes have been guilty of, something we in the business like to call "dong shots".

This is where athletes take naked pictures of themselves and send it to "interested friends". These friends then post these pictures for everyone to see.

Lucky for us there is no dong, just a hot naked swimmer in those pictures.

11. Dara Torres

Dara Torres falls into the cougar category of this list.

Sure she may be in her 40's, but we all know this just means she has some experience.

You know, in the pool where she has won 12 medals (four of each).

10. Anastasia Davydova & 9.Anastasia Ermakova

These two synchronized swimmers work in harmony so well that they won gold in the 2004 Summer Olympics in the duet competition, and then moved over to the Russian national team to help them win gold in the 2006, and 2008 Summer Olympics.

I wonder if gold isn't the only thing that they've shared?

8. Haley Cope

Cope won a silver medal in the 2004 Olympics.

In 2004 she appeared in Playboy. For that she deserved the gold!

7. Charlene Wittstock

This former South African backstroker may not have won any medals, but she certainly is a princess.

Well maybe not yet but, she is due to marry Prince Albert of Monaco in September.

If she's good enough for a prince, that's good enough for me.

6. Federica Pellegrini

Federica Pellegrini is a beautiful woman. Yeah, that's about it.

Oh yeah, her accolades.

She also holds three world records in swimming, and has a gold and silver medal to her credit.

5. Summer Sanders

Better known to the younger crowd as the co-host of Inside Stuff and Nickelodeon's Figure It Out, Sanders was a pretty good swimmer.

She won two golds, a silver and a bronze in the 1992 Olympics. She slowly moved to TV where she became the girl of many young boy's dreams with her bubbly personality, and just overall being hot.

4. Natalie Coughlin

You know what they say about big lungs?

Yeah, me neither.

The swimming federation had to create a line that swimmers had to break the water and stop underwater swimming, because Coughlin was able to hold her breathe for nearly 3/4's of the pool.

Coughlin has won 11 medals in two Olympics, including three golds.

3. Stephanie Rice

This Australian beauty is pretty good at swimming. She won three gold medals at the 2008 Olympics, and holds the world record in the 400 m individual medley.

2. Amanda Beard

If you read my articles (which you probably don't), you know that I have a serious crush on Amanda Beard.

The University of Arizona product has participated in four Olympics, and is training for her fifth currently.

Along the way she has gone from the cute girl holding her teddy bear on the podium, to posing for a Playboy cover, and last but not least becoming a mom.

You might just want to look up the Playboy pictures yourself, and ignore that last part.
