Michelle Beadle: 10 Reasons Why We Love Her on ESPN's SportsNation

Michelle Beadle is the Co-Host of ESPN's SportsNation with Colin Cowherd.

And this is our ode to her and the reasons she makes that show easy to watch.

If you don't know about it, SportsNation has been on for a year now and it literally is what the title says; Beadle and Cowherd ask us out in the sports world what we think about certain topics and then they tally up the ballots and show us the results.

But if that sounds boring, I'm sure it would be if that was all that they did.

To spice it up, they toss in funny videos, special guests and they even dress up in costumes at times to sell their skits.

Really entertaining and irreverent at times, definitely filled with opinions, (I did mention Colin Cowherd, right?)

Here is Michelle and what she means to us...

10. She Stays on Top of Things

Beadle says that the first thing she does in the morning is scour the web for anything and everything sports related, regardless of the site.

This one goes for her producers as well I guess, but the fact that Bleacher Report has made it onto the show, tells me that they will go wherever the news takes them.

9. Athletes Respect Her

Whenever they get pro athletes to come on the show, it is usually Michelle that talks to them first.

I'm not saying that they want nothing to do with Colin, but because of her interviewing background and sideline work, you can tell that the jocks take her seriously.

8. She Puts Up with Colin Cowherd

Colin is great on the radio because he is opinionated.

But being that way on TV makes it hard for a co-host.

Because he'll make a bold statement and won't back off of it, Beadle is constantly trying to counter.

She does a great job of rolling  with his crazy comments.

7. Beadle Knows Her Sports

Right now she hosts two sports shows on ESPN, (SportsNation and Winners Bracket) and before that she worked for Fox Sports as as sideline reporter and for the New York Yankees on the YES Network.

She knows what she is doing.

Hell, she even did some work for the Animal Planet.

Not sure how that proves my point, but still, do you know how hard it is to interview animals?

6. Beadle Puts in the Time

According to an interview she did with Awful Announcing, Beadle says that it takes all day to get SportsNation on the air.

And considering that she has to put in time for her other show on ESPN, she must live at the studio.

With everything else that they do, I wonder if the PTI guys put in a full day of planning for their show.

5. Beadle Is Fearless

As with all shows that do skits and "live" comedic pieces, some of routines can fall flat.

But both hosts do a great job of selling the skits to the bitter end.

Even if it means playing dress up.

And if it doesn't work, Beadle and Cowherd will just do something sillier next time.

4. Beadle Is Funny

Some of the stuff they do on the show is hard to explain so I'm glad we have clips.

Again, even if the idea sounded better in the planning stages than it does when they actually do it, she sells out and that is admirable.

3. She Cleans up Well

To this day, a month later if you Google "Beadle ESPY Dress" you will get hundreds of hits with words like "stole the show, "hot red dress"  and "everyone is talking about it".

So here it goes.

Very nice, but I thought by now there would be a clearer version of it somewhere, but not so.

She has to wear it again so we can decide once and for all how hot it really looked.

2. Beadle Might Be Crazy

Because the show takes up so much time and tries so many new things, I can see how one might lose their mind.

1. Beadle Is Sneaky Hot

And by that I mean, she doesn't flaunt it or toss the hair around.

But every once and a while she'll sport the sexy black pumps.
