Bay Area native, and former Oakland Raiders RB Justin Fargas has signed with the enemy.  The former 1,000 yard rusher will now where the orange & blue after seven years wearing the Silver & Black.

Justin Fargas has rushed for 2,353 yards with 8 TDs over the last three seasons.  His production has gone down since his 1,009 yard season in 2007 with 853 yards in '08 to just 491 yards last season and has fumbled seven times during the last three seasons.

He does run his heart out on every play though.  The question is, how much does the veteran running back have left?  He has never completed a full season during his career.  Injuries are the main reason why he was still a FA the week of the first preseason games.

The Eagles, Redskins, Chiefs, and Saints all have "kicked the tires" on Justin Fargas but nobody offered him a contract.  Is Fargas just a "body" right now while Knowshon Moreno, Correll Buckhalter, and Lendale White get healthy?

One thing Fargas has is work ethic.  He practices and prepares harder than anybody and can simply out work you during the week and earn playing time.  In Oakland he clearly wasn't the most gifted RB of the bunch, he just outworked Bush and McFadden during practice forcing the coaches to give him the bulk of the workload.

I can see Fargas earning a spot on the Broncos.  I guess Fargas is going to get to see what Rolando McClain is all about.  I'll be watching.
