Ring Rap With Matt: HBK Helps The Kids Out, Tyler Black and More

So often we nothing but bad news when it comes to pro wrestling, I often find myself upset that we never see any good news reported. I decided in this edition of “Ring Rap with Matt” to include a couple of nice heartfelt stories. I hope that you appreciate some good news for a change. Because in pro wrestling good news comes in very seldom

HBK kicking it up for the kids

Over the years HBK has been primarily known for his great matches that he gives. What isn’t known is the charity work that he often does. Well HBK has stepped up to the plate again. This time it was for St. Judes and New Life Children’s treatment center.

On Aug 7th, he made an appearance at Canyon Lake in Texas for St. Judes second annual Cardboard Boat Race to help raise money for their cause. While there he met with the kids and signed autographs. I think HBK should be commended for his actions. He is a true ambassador for wrestling; I only hope we see more of this from other wrestlers.

Booker T’s family has expanded

Last Thursday welcomed two new members to his family. His wife TNA Knockout Sharmell gave birth to twins. The news was reported by RVD on his Twitter account. Booker T will face a new opponent; a couple of screaming babies at night, Congratulation Booker and good luck with the kids.

More on Tyler Black and his WWE signing

There has been a lot of buzz going around about Tyler Black. His recent signing became big news all over the net. While there haven’t been a lot of details to come out regarding the situation. A few new updates have been posted as of late. For starters; Tyler Black will still be with ROH until September.

It has also been confirmed that the deal he signed was indeed a developmental deal. This means he will most likely spend some time in FCW before we see him in a WWE ring. ROH President Cary Silkin was asked about the situation, but he only replied with a “no comment”.
