The 2010 PGA Championship returns to Whistling Straits in Wisconsin this week.
There's talk about Tiger's demise, Lefty's arthritis, Westwood's injury, and how anyone has a chance to take this tournament.
If that's the case, plenty of other golfers like their chances at adding a major piece of hardware to their trophy collection.
With so many worthy contenders, that means there will be plenty of hot wives and girlfriends (WAGs) to discuss.
Here's a power ranking of the top contenders' WAGs.
15. Amanda Leonard—Justin Leonard
Amanda is Justin's wife and judging from this photo, Mrs. Leonard looks to be in pretty good shape for a mom with three kids.
The last time Justin Leonard played in the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits was in 2004. That year, he and Chris DiMarco lost to Vijay Singh in a playoff. Maybe this will be the year he goes all the way.
14. Mandy Toth—Brandt Snedeker
Not much can be found online about Mandy except that she and boyfriend Brandt Snedeker like to watch movies together when he's not playing golf.
Snedeker was the 2007 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, that same year he tied for 18th in the PGA Championship.
13. Liezl Els—Ernie Els
Ernie's wife of twelve years, Liezl, may be a little bit older than most of the WAGs on this list but she's still very attractive.
Ernie has never won the PGA Championship in his career, with his best finish coming in 1996 when he finished third.
Traditionally, this course doesn't bode well for 40 year olds and Els is right at that benchmark; but it's tough to count him out.
12. Holly Sweeney—Rory McIlroy
Holly and her boyfriend Rory have reportedly been together since their early teens.
Rory, at 21-years-old, is one of the young stars on the PGA. With Lee Westwood going down to injury, he is the number three favorite to win the PGA Championships.
While Holly is also an up-and-coming WAG. On the course, she is possibly the youngest golf WAG out there and could seems to be the least polished.
Perhaps another few years of maturity can bump her up on this list.
11. Morgan Norman—Sergio Garcia
Morgan is the daughter of golf great Greg Norman and the ex-girlfriend of Garcia.
Two years ago, with Morgan at his side, Garcia finished as second runner up in the 2008 PGA Championship.
They broke up in 2009 and Sergio slumped all season. Garcia seems to have lost his passion for golf and recently announced that he'll be taking some time off from the sport after the PGA Championships.
Who knows if Sergio will even show up mentally for this tournament; he doesn't seem to be the same player he was two years ago. Should we blame Morgan?
10. Lisa Pruett—Anthony Kim
Lisa is the girlfriend of Anthony Kim. The couple reportedly share a place together and for the most part, Lisa tries to blend in with the crowd instead of stand out as a golfer girlfriend. The thing is, she's too cute to blend in.
Kim tied for 51st in the 2009 PGA Championship and had a very successful run at the 2010 Masters, where he finished third.
The question we'll found out this week is: has he finally learned to step things up for a major tournament?
9. Kate Rose—Justin Rose
Kate is married to South African-native Justin Rose and definitely looks like a keeper.
His best finish in the PGA Championship came in 2008 when he tied for a 9th place finish.
But he is having a terrific 2010 with two wins on the tour: the June Memorial Tournament and the July AT&T National.
August just might bring Justin his first major tour victory.
8. Diane Antonopolous—Luke Donald
Diane's been garnering a lot of attention as Luke Donald's significant other on the PGA Tour. The couple have been married since 2007 and have a child together.
Donald is now ranked at a career high number 6 in the world.
His best finish for the PGA Championship came in 2006 when he tied for third.
7. Nel-Mare Oosthuizen—Louis Oosthuizen
The Oosthuizen's have been married since 2007 and have a baby together.
Nel-Mare is not only beautiful but she is also known for always being at the golf course while Louis competes.
Louis is fresh off his first major PGA Tour win at the 2010 Open Championships (his 272 was the lowest in St. Andrews history) and is looking to add to his collection of wins.
6. Kandi Harris—Hunter Mahan
Kandi is Hunter's fiancee and she was also a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
She was also the one credited for helping Hunter win the Waste Management Open Title by running to the car and getting him a replacement driver before teeing off for the third hole.
Hunter is having quite a successful year: he got engaged to Kandi and has won two PGA titles this season, including the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
With so much momentum, he just might have a strong showing at the PGA Championships.
5. Jocelyn Casey—Paul Casey
Mrs. Paul Casey looks like a very proper and refined woman. She's said to be an amateur show-jumper, which explains her dignified poise.
Paul deserves a lot of credit for having such a stunning wife.
Back to golf. Paul didn't make the cut last time the Championships were at Whistling Straits but he just saw his best results in a major tournament. Paul finished tied for third at St. Andrew's.
4. Sonya Toms—David Toms
Sonya Toms was an underrated beauty until photos of her in a bikini started circling around the Internet.
Then fans and even other pro golfers have her consistently ranked as one of the hottest wives on the Tour.
Of course, this list is no different. Oh and by the way, Vegas gives David a 150/1 shot at winning the tourney.
3. Amy Mickelson—Phil Mickelson
Amy is married to Phil Mickelson and is consistently one of the most attractive golf wives.
The couple have seen their share of personal health issues over the last few years. This time around , Phil has revealed that he is suffering from arthritis. How could that affect his golf game?
We're about to find out. But remember, Mickelson still finished fourth in the U.S. Open despite being in pain.
2. Ana Ivanovic—Adam Scott
Adam Scott was rumored to have dated Kate Hudson. Now he's with another hottie, Ana Ivanovic.
The same Ivanovic that was a top-ranked tennis player.
Last time at Whistling Straits in 2004, Scott was a promising young golfer and tied for a ninth place finish. That was six years ago and a major tournament win has still eluded him in his career.
But once again, with a wide open tournament. Scott might be able to regain his promise.
1. Elin Nordegren—Tiger Woods
Officially, she is still Tiger's wife and she definitely deserves the top spot on this list.
However, I doubt she'll be making any type of appearance at the PGA Championships.
Tiger shot all four rounds over par at the Bridgestone Invitational and his 2010 golf continues to suffer. Bridgestone was supposed to be the course where he would turn things around; instead, he still hasn't returned to form.
Tiger needs to have a strong showing at the PGA Championship, otherwise he could finally lose his number one ranking.
