NHL Breeze: Aug.8, Evening Edition

Here are some of the rumours and updates around the NHL on Sunday evening:

- Ilya Kovalchuk arbitration announcement to be announced Monday, most likely, Devils and NHL will have something to say

- Tomas Kaberle T-7. Down to 7 days guys, Burke either keeps him or adds someone else for him, after that, Kaberle's no-trade clause kicks back in

- Derick Brassard and Jakub Voracek to see Nikita Filatov flying in town to play with them in Columbus

- Lou Lamoriello is searching for his AHL head coach, should be announced after Kovy saga

- Chris Chelios joins Kenny Holland in Detroit front office, I think this is a big gain for ownership, and big loss for NHLPA

- NHL Rule change will be discussed in meetings on Aug.18-19. Look for that in a couple weeks

- We may hear more on Kariya, Forsberg, Bieksa, Mitchell, and more players signing or switching teams this week, so stay tuned...
