Toronto Maple Leafs 2nd and 3rd Lines

A few days ago, we briefly touched on the topic of who should be a part of the top line of the Maple Leafs. Now, today, we are going to digest who and where players fit in on the second and third lines respectively.

Players likely in Ron Wilson’s mind to choose from are:

Nazem Kadri, Mikhail Grabovski, Colby Armstrong, Christian Hanson, John Mitchell, Luca Caputi.

In this pool of players, Ron Wilson will have to decide who has chemistry and who is going each and every night. Many of these players are young and inexperienced, so Wilson knows he needs to be patient and let them figure things out by having more ice-time and games under their belt.

Of this group, Nazem Kadri seems to be the guy who will have a shot at rising to the 1st line with Phil Kessel. Otherwise, Kadri should be a safe bet for second line centre.
