On Friday, long-time Duck Teemu Selanne announced his decision to return to the Ducks for one more year. He also said something about playing with his buddy Paul Kariya again, after his stint with Kariya there in Colorado uniform.

Now, with several years of travelling and body aging, the two are talking about another get together session, this time in Anaheim.

Paul Kariya has stated that he wants to come back to the NHL "given the right situation."

It would not be a surprise to anybody that Paul Kariya finally signs with the Anaheim Ducks to boost their top-6 unit. We all know that Paul Kariya is not as mobile or as dangerous a player as he was in the 1990's, but he can definitely still factor in the offense. Ducks have Saku Koivu, Teemu Selanne, Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry. If Kariya is willing to come, the top-6 is all but set. Pretty formidable group of scorers.

We shall see what happens with Paul in the coming days...
