Andy Johnson's Move to Fulham in Doubt Over Medical Row

Andy Johnson's move to Fulham has reportedly been delayed because of a hitch in his medical.

Fulham agreed a deal with Everton for Johnson earlier this week and the England international underwent a medical at Craven Cottage.

The move was expected to be completed within a day or two but the medical is believed to have shown up an old knee injury which has raised concerns with Fulham officials.

As a result, the London club are believed to be keen to renegotiate terms of payment to Everton.

Both clubs remain in discussions as they try to thrash out a satisfactory agreement for both parties.

The pair remains confident the move will go through because both clubs are eager to do the deal. Everton want the money to fund their own transfer plans while Fulham are keen to have Johnson on board as they look to improve on last season's disappointing campaign.
