JaMarcus Russell Back in Practice with the Oakland Raiders

greg pitschSenior Analyst IJuly 31, 2008

After missing the remainder of Tuesday's practice, JaMarcus Russell was able to return to practice with the Oakland Raiders today.

He hurt his elbow Tuesday on Darren McFadden's helmet on his follow-through after a throw. He was still wanting to practice, but the coaches pulled him for the fact that he didn't look like he was putting his arm into throws.

Today, upon returning to practice he was able to run plays, and mostly hand the ball off. He didn't do any throwing during the pass plays.

He said he doesn't like sitting around, watching all his teammates work their butts off.
