UFC 117 Predictions

Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen: Sonnen has been talking an unbelievable amount of smack. But the reality is, you should have to be good enough to do it. He is not. He is nothing more than a mediocre fighter trying to make a name for himself. Silva finishes him in the third round.

Thiago Alves vs. Jon Fitch: Alves has not fought in a year, while Fitch keeps winning. Fitch continues to bore the MMA World to death with his decision victories. That won’t stop here, as he will win by decision.

Junior Dos Santos vs. Roy Nelson: The winner of this is next in line for a World Title shot. People are writing off Nelson, but Nelson will bring the heat. But he will get too cocky with his stand-up, and Dos Santos will knock him out in the second round.

Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Hughes: This is a tough one to predict, and it will likely be a slow paced fight. Hughes will work on Almeida for the decision victory.

Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Clay Guida: Guida always makes the fight exciting, but that can be costly. Dos Anjos will give the surprise submission in the first round.
