For the first time ever, the NBA leaked a portion of its schedule early this year.
On Tuesday night, they took a page out of LeBron James' book by announcing the first-week marquee matchups, along with Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day games, in a one-hour special on NBA TV.
Not surprisingly, the league announced a slate of top-heavy matchups. The only three non-playoff teams (from last year) to appear in the first week are the Los Angeles Clippers, the Washington Wizards and the Houston Rockets.
Half the league can mope about not being included in the primetime schedule, but for Joe NBA Fan, the league did right by us and lined up a full schedule of must-see battles.
Here's one man's attempt at power ranking the marquee games from the first week of the 2010-11 NBA season, from worst to best.
