Breaking news out of Boston: New England Sports Network is reporting a trade deadline deal has been made to move Manny Ramirez out of Boston to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In the three-team deal that involves the Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates, Manny Ramirez will go to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pirates outfielder Jason Bay will go to the Red Sox, and the Pirates will get four minor league players out of the deal.  It is not confirmed where the four minor leaguers will come from.

So an end of an era has come for Manny in Boston.  Now Manny can go to the Red Sox of the West, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
