Are you ready for some football?
How about the cheerleaders that accommodate the teams getting ready to hit the gridiron for the 2010 season?
Today we’re going to be power ranking the 25 college football teams by cheerleaders.
Does that mean the Baylor Bears may finally make a Top 25 list for College Football?
You’ll have to wait and find out.
25. Duke University
The Duke Blue Devils just barely make the cut, but they are in the top 25 nonetheless.
Can anyone really argue with this, though?
24. University of South Florida
The University of South Florida Bulls come in at No. 24 in this preseason college football Top 25 by cheerleaders.
And the state of Florida is well represented in today’s rankings.
23. University of Tennessee
The Tennessee Volunteers garner the No. 23 spot in today’s college football predictions and ranking the best of the bests by cheerleaders.
A majority of Tennessee fans, in fact, are already flipping out about the upcoming season in eager anticipation of what’s to come.
22. University of Kentucky
The University of Kentucky Wildcats enter today’s list at No. 22.
And although they are fairly newcomers to this Top 25 list, the Wildcats are aiming to stick around awhile.
21. University of Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Badgers are currently No. 21 in this preseason college football poll.
Do they have time to rise before the season concludes, though? No doubt about it.
20. University of Arizona
Can anyone disagree with the University of Arizona coming in at No. 20 on this preseason football list?
The second set of Wildcats to don the 2010 College Football predictions list, Arizona has a chance to soar this season.
19. University of Washington
Watch out, world, and welcome the Washington Huskies into the top 20 of the preseason football poll.
Will they rise, or will the begin to fall, once the seasons kicks off in less than a month?
18. University of Miami (FL)
Welcome back to Florida!
I told you this state was well represented, as the University of Miami rolls in at No. 18 on this year's preseason poll.
17. University of Alabama
Roll, Tide, Roll!
The University of Alabama Crimson Tide are currently sitting pretty, tucked away at No. 17 on this 2010 College Football Prediction poll.
16. University of Kansas
The Big 12 Conference, despite a near dismantling this summer, is well represented in this season's preview poll—with the Kansas Jayhawks being the first from the Big 12 to make this list.
Kansas enters preseason play as the No. 16 team.
15. Clemson University
The Atlantic Coast Conference’s Clemson Tigers enter the 2010 football campaign as the No. 15 team on this preview poll.
And Clemson has high—and hot—hopes entering the upcoming season.
14. University of Arkansas
The Arkansas Razorbacks, No. 14 in this week’s preseason poll, have many reasons to be cheerful entering the 2010 season.
Six of those numerous reasons are at left.
13. Louisiana State University
Welcome to the South, football fans—and, to be more specific, welcome to Louisiana Southern University, home of the Tigers.
LSU could easily find themselves in the Top 10 by the time week two rolls around, but only time will tell as the Tigers are currently No. 13 on this week's preseason poll.
12. Ole Miss University
Ole Miss University, with their Colonel Reb mascot that will soon be scratched in light of something new, are the No. 12 team entering the 2010 College Football season.
And from pom-poms to the gridiron, Ole Miss has plenty to be jumping around about as they embark upon a new year.
11. University of Oregon
You’ve got to love the University of Oregon Ducks—along with the team’s cheerful supporters.
Oregon, currently on the brink of being in the Top 10, are No. 11 in this week’s preseason poll—and they’ll likely be sticking around most of the season.
10. University of Georgia
As the Beatles used to like to sing, “Hey, Bulldog!”
The University of Georgia Bulldogs have plenty to be smiling about as they enter the 2010 college football season at No. 10 in this week’s poll.
9. Auburn University
Please forgive me, Bama fans, for ranking the Auburn Tigers above y'all in this week's preseason college football poll.
But can you really argue with Auburn landing at No. 9 in this week's rankings?
8. University of South Carolina
Who DOESN'T enjoy watching the beauties of God's creation prance around cheering for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks?
South Carolina rolls into the 2010 preseason poll as the No. 8 team.
7. Baylor University
Welcome to Bear Country.
For those unaware of where that is, pull out a map and you’ll find a tiny dot in Texas known as Waco—home to Baylor University.
Baylor, a newcomer to many top 25 sports lists, enters the 2010 preseason as the No. 7 team in the nation on this week’s poll.
6. UCLA
Go West, young man?
If you're staying in America, you can't go much further west than UCLA—and the Bruins enter this week's preseason poll as the No. 6 team in the country.
5. University of Texas
Everything is bigger—and better—in Texas, right?
The University of Texas Longhorns, fresh off what many have called “saving the Big 12,” enter this week’s preseason poll as the No. 5 team in the nation.
And rightfully so—Hook ’Em Horns!
4. University of Florida
Yes, we are heading back East to the beautiful state of Florida, and this time we are landing at the University of Florida.
And the Florida Gators, entering the 2010 gridiron campaign as the No. 4 team in the nation, could easily be in the top five teams all season long.
3. Arizona State University
Not much gets hotter than a Sun Devil, and Arizona State has every reason to back up that theory.
Arizona State enters the 2010 college football season as the No. 3 team in the country, and the Sun Devils likely won't be losing their positioning any time in the near future.
2. Florida State University
Back to Florida, although this will unfortunately be our final stop in the state.
The Florida State Seminoles will be embarking upon the 2010 college football season as the No. 2 team in the nation.
Any arguments?
1. University of Southern California
Welcome to a wonderful pictorial view of the No. 1 team in the nation entering the 2010 college football season: University of Southern California.
The Trojans are the top team in the country heading into week one action, and there are at least 12 reasons to be excited as a USC fan.
Those reasons begin, and end, with a two-piece swimsuit and a smile.
