Matt Barnes, Steve Blake, Derek Fisher, Theo Ratliff
Whenever Kobe Bryant has beef with an opposing player on the court, that player usually joins teams with the Black Mamba seasons after.
Last year it was Ron Artest, this offseason it's Matt Barnes (Bryant attempted to recruit Raja Bell as well).
Barnes is a versatile athlete that could play the two spot or the three, providing the Lakers with well rounded defense. He has no problem with going toe-to-toe with the top athletes in the league and should be a tremendous fit for LA, especially for only $3.6 million.
The Lakers also signed point-guard Steve Blake who could become the teams starting point-guard this season. Blake is a great three-point shooter, solid defender, and above average distributor.
Los Angeles has had a terrific offseason and will carry their momentum into the start of the season.
