Elite in-state defensive back Jonathan Rose has verbally committed to Auburn. It has long been suspected he was leaning toward Auburn and he made it official tonight.

This has not quelled the enthusiasm of the Auburn family over this huge commitment. His position was one of immense need on a Tiger defense that has several seniors graduating in 2010.

He has joined fellow recruit C.J. Uzomah, who committed to Auburn July 31, 2010. These two huge commitments make for a very successful weekend of recruiting for the Auburn Staff.

Rose and Uzomah make two more recruits in what is shaping up to be a superb 2011 freshman class for the Tigers. Will more top recruits commit to play Auburn football soon? Only time will tell.
