Limited to 70 games last season, Phil Kessel should see a significant increase in his offensive numbers in 2010-11.
Kessel scored 30 goals last season (six off his 36 goal total of 2008-09) and added 25 assists for a total of 55 points.
While both the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons saw Kessel play in just 70 games, there is reason to believe that he will play a full 82 game season for the first time since 2006-07.
If Kessel manages to play in all 82 games one can assume that he will notch 35-40 goals and see an increase in his assist totals.
Besides playing more games, Kessel will likely see an increased role on the power play where he notched eight goals last season.
More games, more minutes and a better collection of teammates to play with should all help Kessel to be a 70-75 point player.
