With auditions for the 10th season of American Idol now underway, the judging situation has suffered some casualties.

Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGenres, and Kara DioGuardi will not be back for the next season of Idol. They have been replaced with Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

Why is American Idol news important on a website dedicated to the world of sports? Because our WAG of the Week would not be here had it not been for her success on American Idol.

Carrie Underwood went from your average southern beauty to a mega-famous, country pop star over night.

She has dominated the world of country music, much like Michael Jordan did in Chicago.

After recently getting hitched to NHL player Mike Fisher, Carrie Underwood is now a lifelong member of the WAG society.

A few weeks ago, Carrie Underwood went from being engaged to being married to Mike Fisher of the Ottawa Senators.

I am not going to lie, Mike Fisher was a good NHL player, but when he married Carrie Underwood, he became the luckiest man in the league.

All men have goals in life and being a sports superstar is one of them. The other is marrying the hottest female in the world. Mike came as close as he will ever get to that goal with Carrie.
