Philadelphia Eagles: WR DeSean Jackson Injured In Practice

Philadelphia Eagles standout WR DeSean Jackson being injured in training camp is the last thing any fan wants to hear, and when I read Philly.com Jeff McLane's article I nearly did a double take hoping the news wasn't true.
Unfortunately folks, it is.
According to Jeff, Jackson landed "awkwardly" during a seven on seven drill which did not include pads—so it was to be a no contact play.
Jackson brought in a short pass but had CB Asante Samuel and LB Omar Gaither looking make a play on defense.
It appears for now as if there wasn't any contact involved and I'm sure they will be looking into that, but it looks as if DeSean simply landed incorrectly.
More on this following the afternoon practices once head coach Andy Reid wraps up the day but it doesn't look good—at least for the immediate future!
Stay tuned for more details regarding his injury!
