Pirates Trade For Diamondbacks Catcher Snyder

BREAKING NEWS: The Pirates have traded Ryan Church, Bobby Crosby, and DJ Carrasco to the Diamondbacks for Catcher Chris Snyder and an unnamed minor league player.

Snyder's career average is .233 and has 10 home runs this year.

"Snyder is under contract for $5.75 million next year and has a club option worth $6.75 million for 2012"

Both Church and Crosby have underperformed for the Bucs this year, but Carrasco has had a great year, with a 3.88 ERA.
