The Indianapolis Colts are under fire from several organizations for wearing their white jerseys yet again without even trying on the blue ones to see how they look. This has Bobby Azul, President of the B.J.A.A. (Blue Jersey American Alliance), seeing red.

“After years of white shirts, white pants, white shoes, and mostly white helmets one has to question whether the Colts organization is serious about giving the blue jerseys the opportunity to be worn,” said Azul while waiting to board a JetBlue flight.

Azul, a Duke graduate, has been fighting this fight for years, and he has a point. The Colts have a tremendous amount of fans who have purchased the blue jersey, but they never get a chance to see what the team can do on the field wearing them.

“It isn’t just the Colts,” added Azul.  “The Cowboys are guilty of this as well. There are some blue jerseys that breathe just as well as the white ones, stretch just as well as the white ones, and stain just as well as the white ones, but until these teams give the blue jerseys an opportunity, they’ll never get to showcase the soft fluffiness of their fabrics in the NFL.”

We’ll continue to monitor this situation from high a top our ivory towers.
