The Chicago Bulls Don't Want Tracy McGrady

Sources close to the Chicago Bulls front office have said that they don’t think Tracy McGrady is a right fit for them. This comes on the heels of Monday’s workout with the former all-star.

Attention to his conditioning was paramount, as well as his willingness to come off the bench. McGrady feels like he can contribute more to the Bulls. Derrick Rose has given the go-ahead for T-Mac to join him in Chicago, however, McGrady needs to convince the front office and coaching staff that he is ready.

The Bulls have already stated that McGrady will not be a starter. He has been limited by injuries for a few years and is clearly not the dominant player he was before.

The Bulls were looking to see if McGrady was physically fit and injury free to play the type of game that is asked for in Chicago. Newly hired head coach, Tom Thibodeau will be asking Tracy McGrady to play a lot of defense and play team ball (something T-Mac is unaccustomed to). They are also asking McGrady to be a veteran bench leader for the young squad.
