According to the Associated Press, USC Trojans' Lane Kiffin was surprised about the Tennessee Titans' lawsuit over him after he hired away one of their coaches.

The Tennessee Titans wanted to sue Kiffin because he hired Kennedy Pola as the Trojans' offensive coordinator and running backs coach.

Titans' head coach Jeff Fisher was upset when Kiffin didn't contact him about the hiring. So, hence, Tennessee and Fisher sued.

A company that owns the Titans called Tennessee Football Inc. filed a lawsuit against Kiffin about the hiring of Pola's contract.

"Pola's hiring was done no differently than any we did at SC or Tennessee. I didn't anticipate this. No one would have," Kiffin said.

This is going to be interesting.
