Chicago Blackhawks: Reason for Opponents to Worry?

Brandon RudicsCorrespondent IJuly 31, 2008

With the recent addition of Brian Campbell, the Chicago Blackhawks are destined for a Stanley Cup run. The Blackhawks have the talented youth and veteran forwards to make a big run.

With Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane leading the way, veterans Martin Havlat and Robert Lang will help guide the two youngsters. This team is a force to be reckoned with.

But for every offense, you need a good defense.

That's where Brent Seabrook and Cam Barker lead the way. With even more experienced Brian Campbell and Brent Sopel on the ice, it will certainly be tough for the opposition to navigate.

Between the iron, who could go wrong with Cristobal Huet and Nikolai Khabibulin? I think this team will be one of the favorites to win the coveted Stanley Cup.
