Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders go Eco Friendly

I don't know about eco friendly but I lived near Philly for a couple of years and every time I saw a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader "getting friendly" did come to mind. They are far from my favorite football team but who ever recruits the cheerleaders do an excellent job. They are the epitome of beautiful.

The best part is if you live near Philadelphia or in south Jersey you see them every where. Store openings, small town parades, in bars. Not bad when you go to see your kid in a parade and a car full of Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders drive by.

So now they are not only beautiful but good for the environment too?

Life just gets better and better everyday!

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― This years Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders annual calendar is the first of its kind as the bikini-clad team goes green and gets "eco-sexy."

The 2008-2009 calendar cover was unveiled Wednesday evening during a fashion show at the NovaCare Complex.

According to the Philadelphia Eagles, their cheerleaders are the first professional cheerleading organization to produce an eco-friendly themed calendar printed on recycled paper.

The calendar features the team donning bikinis made of recycled plastic soda bottles and organic cotton, all-natural accessories made from glass, clothes hangers, cable wire, CDs, and computer chips. And for the final touches, the girls used environmentally friendly makeup and hair products.

The steamy 16-month calendar turns eco-friendly into "eco-sexy.
