Warning: The videos in this slide show are littered with offensive language and controversy. If you are easily offended, this show is not for you.
However, if you appreciate the lighter side of MMA, or just like a good old fashioned dummy spit, then read on.
I have assembled 20 of the best/worst rants, raves, interviews, and meltdowns in the history of MMA.
There are no doubt other great meltdowns that are not on this list. However, I have only included moments where I was able to provide the footage, as simply trying to explain most of these moments wouldn't do them justice.
Honorable Mentions...
Igor Vovchanchyn
"Sometimes I became really aggressive, which was dangerous for my fellow villagers."
Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace
"It's an octagonal octagon."
Ken Shamrock
"You got kicked. By a kick."
"I am very confident this fight can go either way."
“I will beat you into a living death”
Kazushi Sakuraba
"Maybe I will hire someone to make some belts for me. It's easier than fighting for them you know."
Bas Rutten
"Apparently the only way to kill a lion is by rear naked choke…personally I’d just kick it in the head."
Tank Abbott
"Beating people up is a positive thing."
"I felt like I was being raped by Freddy Mercury."
"You know I just went from the barstool to the octagon."
Tim Sylvia
"I'm the oldest I've ever been, right now"
"Half of this game is 90 percent mental"
B J Penn
“I only want to be known as the best ever. Is that too much to ask?”
Royce Gracie
"A black belt only covers two inches of your ass; you have to cover the rest."
Nick Diaz
“That little f**ker hit me with a Hadukan or something”
Kazushi Sakuraba
"I'll kick him in the head."
(On how he would beat champion kickboxer Mirco CroCop)
GSP
“I’m not impressed..."
"I don't want to lick any butt"
Brock Lesnar
“He broke Tim Sylvia’s arm...So what?”
Tito Ortiz
"I run a multi-billion dollar company”
“And while the troops are fighting overseas for our freedom, I’m here in this cage fighting for the freedom of mixed martial arts.”
"I just take fights that make me feel comfortable."
Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson
"When I be losing I be gettin’ my ass whupped. But when I be winnin' I be doing the ass whuppin'!"
Wanderlei Silva
"Next time I fight Tito, I will deform his face."
Phil Baroni
"I fight because I can't sing, I can't dance, and it beats working all day. Now ask me a question that doesn't sound so f**king stupid."
Joe Son
“I fight with the power of Jesus in my corner!”
Forrest Griffin
"When you see another man, you think two things. Who has the bigger dick and can I take this guy in a fight? One you can’t do anything about, the other you can."
Sean Sherk
“I didn’t use steroids”
Joe Rogan
“Well you see, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black belts have a black belt in…… Brazilian Jiu Jitsu”
"If Tyson Griffin was a girl, I’d say he has a badonkadonk.”
“Omigawa’s moving forward like a Karate robot.”
Enson Inoue
"Pain is temporary. Pride is forever."
"Live as a man. Die as a man. Become a man."
"Blood is just red sweat."
Helio Gracie
"I am against the war, but I agree with the American attack. Humanity is rotten, and only thru an earthquake, a tsunami or a war we can clean it up. The stench is everywhere. They are all the same."
20. Tank Abbott: I'm a Winner and You're a Loser
The original bad boy of the octagon, David 'Tank' Abbott, makes sure everybody knows that he is a winner, and you are a loser.
He also discusses his education (or lack thereof), and his desire to be standing atop of the octagon surrounded by bloody bodies.
19. The NY Bad Ass Comes Clean
Phil Baroni, the "New York Bad Ass," is such a colorful character that I could have filled this slide show with multiple Baroni moments.
Unfortunately, many of them are long-winded, expletive-filled tirades, and in most cases, I looked for shorter and sharper rants.
So I'll leave you with a 60-second piece on Baroni's apparent obsession with hygiene.
18. The Diaz Brothers
A classic deep and meaningful moment with the notorious Diaz brothers.
17. Bernard Hopkins on MMA and the UFC
Old man Bernard Hopkins apparently doesn't like MMA.
According to the professional boxer, MMA fighters are all gay, because they wear "panties," get sweaty, and wrestle each other.
In reality, his fear and loathing probably comes from his awareness that MMA is quickly growing into the largest combat sport in the world.
16. Dana White vs. Sherdog (Jake Rossen)
A classic expletive-filled DW special, directed at a senior Sherdog editor.
It concerns controversial Sherdog writer Jake Rossen, who is known for attention-seeking and negative articles on the sport of MMA.
For example, the man recently wrote an article describing the (now legendary) Leonard Garcia vs. Korean Zombie fight, as overrated and not a great fight.
In this particular outburst, DW is furious at Rossen refuting his claims of massive growth in MMA over the next decade.

15. Paul Buentello: Don't Fear Me...
Paul "The Headhunter" Buentello had just stopped Gilbert Aldana via TKO at UFC 57, and was being interviewed post fight by Joe Rogan, when he decided to find out how many fans he had in the building.
What happened is one of the most embarrassing moments in UFC history.
14. The Hammer Suffers a Breakdown
UFC hall of fame legend Mark "The Hammer" Coleman suffered a major meltdown after a loss to Fedor Emelianenko at a Pride event in 2004.
The mercurial Coleman takes out his anger on the walls backstage, before calming down enough to congratulate the always tranquil Fedor, although not before shedding a few tears.

13. The Gracie Family vs. B J Penn
After taking up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at 17, B J Penn started training under Ralph Gracie at the age of 19 and quickly rose to prominence as his prized student.
Penn was very popular with the Gracie family, so when he left the Gracie camp to train at Nova Uniao right before his first major BJJ tournament victory, it is safe to say the Gracie's were pissed.
A long-standing feud ensued, where after an extended war of words, Penn eventually fought and defeated both Rodrigo and Renzo Gracie at separate MMA events held in Hawaii.

12. Krazy Horse Does Not Like Brazillians
Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett is one of the more bizarre and eccentric fighters to have ever graced the sport of MMA.
Like Tito and DW, I could have filled this entire slide show with quotes and rants from this exciting lightweight.
Instead, I'll leave you with this hilarious must watch post-fight interview after Pride: Shockwave in 2005.

11. Dana White vs. Tito Ortiz
The rivalry is so intense, the hatred so real, that I could have made this entire top 20 list on DW vs. Tito moments.
Instead, I have picked the most public of them all, the UFC 84 post-fight press conference, when the simmering emotions boiled over in front of the assembled media.
If you are impatient, the good stuff starts at the five-minute mark...

10. Chael Sonnen: Anderson Silva is a Fraud
There has been a string of radio interviews and press conferences leading up to UFC 117, and Chael Sonnen has had plenty to say on the subject of Anderson Silva.
It's not surprising, as the ex-politician is a gifted public speaker. Of all the rants, some of which have bordered on racist, I have found this radio interview to be the most interesting.
9. Mike Goldberg on Everything MMA
Mike Goldberg is like the second coming of legendary (I use that term loosely) commentator Bill "Superfoot" Wallace.
There are so many Mike Goldberg moments that like many others, he could get his own top 20 list.
While no specific moment stands out from the rest, this short montage of Goldberg showcases him at his eloquent best.
8. Lost in Translation: The Cyborg Puts MMA Reporter To Sleep
In the lead up to the Cyborg vs. Carano fight, Christiane "Cyborg" Santos was participating in a relatively mundane interview.
Until something got lost in translation.
Must watch!
7. The Axe Murderer: I Want to F*** Chuck
In 2006, DW bought superstar Pride fighter and MW champion Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva into the Octagon to hype up a possible fight with then UFC LHW champion, Chuck Liddell.
Perhaps it was the excitement of the moment, or Wandy's fragmented English, but what was actually said is unlikely to have been what DW or anyone else was expecting.

6. Ken Shamrock vs. Tito Ortiz
There is no bigger rivalry or pure hatred in MMA than Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock. Dana White would be considered Tito's best buddy when compared to Ken Shamrock.
It began on Tito's very first night fighting in the UFC, May 30th 1997, and it is highly probable these men will take the feud to their graves.
There have been so many rants and raves between the two fighters that I struggled to narrow the choices down.
Here are 3 of the best short videos featuring classic Shamrock vz. Ortiz moments.
(Explicit Language Warning)
5. Brock Lesnar on Frank Mir, Coors Light, and his Wife
This one doesn't require too much explanation. In probably the most famous rant in recent memory, Brock Lesnar attacks a UFC sponsor, the crowd, and his opponent, before sharing too much information about his love life, all in 30 seconds.

4. Josh Koscheck and Diego Sanchez: The Aliens Are Coming
In a classic moment from the original TUF series, Josh Koscheck convinces a drunken Diego Sanchez that "the aliens are coming," sending Diego into an intoxicated rage.
Probably the funniest moment from the entire TUF series.
(Explicit Language Warning)
3. Chuck Liddell on Good Morning Texas
The reason why Chuck Liddell was apparently drunk on national TV differs depending on who you ask, but the fact remains that when the Iceman appeared live on Good Morning Texas to promote the 300 (Spartans) movie, he was not in a good way.
Between fidgeting, slurring his words, and falling asleep, Chuck had the interviewer Gary Cogill genuinely concerned about him, and the producer looking to end the segment as quickly as possible.
When asked by Cogill who he wanted to fight next, Chuck answered, "Tommy Morrison" (professional heavyweight boxer).
2. Dana White vs. Sherdog II (Loretta Hunt)
There is no doubt this is the most famous DW meltdown in a long history of DW meltdowns.
In this intense profanity-laced tirade, DW expresses his apparent displeasure with an MMA story written by Loretta Hunt.
Not for the faint of heart.
(Explicit Language Warning)
1. Joe Rogan on Brock, Fedor, and James Toney
The absolute funniest rant I have ever heard on the subject of MMA, from the world's biggest fight fan, Joe Rogan.
This lecture is actually a solid technical analysis of James Toney, Brock Lesnar, and Fedor Emelianenko as fighters, while at the same time, being unbelievably funny. It gets better and better as he winds himself up.
Well worth 12 minutes of your life.
(There is a one-minute overlap between the first and second videos)

Bonus: Rampage and Krazy Horse Get Technical on MMA
A bizarre commentary team of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett featured on this King of the Cage card.
The two "commentators" cover such in depth topics as their education levels, putting food on the table, and Japanese MMA fans.
Rampage's commentary includes gems of technical analysis like "he did the ghetto blaster to the back of da head and then he finished up with a triangle arm bar typa sorta thingy from the stomach."
Solid Gold.
(The commentary does not start until the two-minute mark.)
