According to MMA Diehards, former IFL middleweight champion Dan Miller (11-4) will step in for Phil Baroni at UFC 118 to take on John Salter (5-1).

Originally, Salter was scheduled to face "The New York Badass" Phil Baroni, but Baroni was forced to withdraw from the card due to a collarbone injury.

UFC 118 will take place August 28 in Boston, Massachusetts, and will feature a rematch between BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar for Edgar's UFC lightweight championship.

Dan Miller is currently riding a three-fight losing streak in the octagon and will need the win to stay relevant in the UFC's crowded middleweight division.

In Miller's last bout, he lost a unanimous decision to "Ultimate Fighter" Season Three light heavyweight winner Michael "The Count" Bisping.

Salter had a rocky debut in the UFC after losing to Gerald Harris by third-round TKO at Ultimate Fight Night 20 back in January.

At UFC 113, Salter would rebound and pick up an unexpected win over the always tough Jason MacDonald.
