USC Head Coach Lane Kiffin just can't stay out of trouble. This time he's back in trouble with the NFL specifically the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are claiming that Kiffin "maliciously" interfered with assistant coach Kennedy Pola's contract, and that eventually lured Pola to the Trojans.

It wouldn't be a coincidence that the team suing Lane Kiffin would be from the state of Tennessee, would it?

Pola was hired back in January to be the running backs coach for the Titans. The lawsuit claims that "as a result of USC and Kiffin's tortuous conduct, Tennessee football has been damaged in an amount proven at trial."

The Titans claim that Kiffin violated Pola's contract since he was required to have written permission to discuss a job with anyone other than the Titans.

Titans head coach Jeff Fisher isn't too pleased either.

Of course Kiffin is disputing the events in question.  He claims that he did reach out to Coach Fisher out of professional courtesy, which Coach Fisher denies.

Let's see how new AD Pat Haden views and handles this situation.
