As Alberto Contador attacked on Andy Schleck’s mechanical problem and took the advantage of the yellow jersey, most of his colleagues and authorities criticized him for breaking the unwritten fair play rules of the Tour de France.

And what's worse is that Contador finished the Tour 39 seconds ahead of Schleck, exactly the same amount of time he won against Schleck after his surge during Stage 15.

So the shadow of this move will be on Contador for a long time, even though most of the people who criticized him were sure that he would win anyhow.
