Will Maryland's Landon Milbourne Get The NBA Call

A week ago former Maryland Terp Landon Milbourne was playing in the NBA's Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks in Las Vegas.

Now Milbourne is waiting to see if he will get an invite to a NBA team for the upcoming season.  Personally I like to see him headed back to the College Park area to play for the Washington Wizards and No. 1 Draft Choice John Wall.  The Wizards are apparently rebuilding and this would be a great opportunity for him.

However, if Milbourne does not get the call, hopefully he will have a Professional Career overseas.  Many former Terps, have played Overseas, including former teammate James Gist, who may be returning for Overseas, to play for the San Antonio Spurs.  Milbourne could play for a couple of years and make his way back to the NBA or to one of the NBA D League teams.

Although Milbourne didn't get to play a lot during the Summer League with Atlanta, he did show some flashes from the pass, like the put back dunk in the fourth game.  To view this dunk go to nba.com, Atlanta Hawks and click on Put Back Dunk. http://www.nba.com/video/games/hawks/2010/07/17/1521000052_dls_atl_play2.nba/

The former Captain of the Maryland Terps now waits, in his hometown of Atlanta, for a call.  He has a great agent, who also represents Josh Smith, Derrick Favors, Mario West and Anthony Morrow, so hopefully he will be employed some where soon.
