Former 620 WHEN radio host "Prime Time" Adam Schein is reporting that former Syracuse linebacker Keith Bulluck will sign a one-year deal with the New York Giants.

Bulluck was also being courted by Arizona, but ultimately decided to play closer to his hometown of Suffern, NY.  The deal will allow the 33-year-old to make up to $2.5 million this season.  He told ESPN.com's Tom Friend that he has been offered the job of middle linebacker.

Bulluck spent 10 seasons as an outside linebacker with Tennessee.  The Titans chose him in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and he has appeared in 157 out of a possible 160 games since then.

Bulluck played strong safety, middle linebacker and outside linebacker during his college career with the Orange.  He was named the program's MVP as a senior after leading the Big East with 138 tackles.
