Oswego State hockey schedule is out
The Oswego State men's ice hockey team has released their schedule for the 2010-11 season.  The Lakers will begin the march to Minnesota on Oct. 22 with a home-and-home series against Elmira, their fourth consecutive season-opener against the Soaring Eagles.

Oswego State will then jump right into conference play, welcoming five straight SUNYAC foes to the Campus Center from Oct. 29-Nov. 12.  The Lakers will return to the Utica Memorial Auditorium for the second straight season on Nov. 13, Utica will visit Oswego on Dec. 10.  Hobart, Skidmore, and Curry round out Oswego State's non-conference schedule.

This year's Pathfinder Bank Oswego Hockey Classic will see Hobart, Hamilton, and Wisconsin-Stevens Point come to the Port City.  The Lakers have won each of the last two Pathfinders and three-of-four overall.

A long road slate will have Oswego State playing away from the Campus Center from Jan. 9-Feb. 11, a stretch of five straight conference road games which includes a trip to Plattsburgh.  The whiteout game against the Cardinals will take place on Nov. 6.

An exhibition game on Oct. 16 will be the first chance to see this year's Lakers as they welcome the Bradford Rattlers to Oswego.
