Russia’s Euro 2008 star Andrei Arshavin has ruled out a move to Serie A giants Roma as reports suggest that he favors a move to England.

The Zenit St. Petersburg striker is a target for Tottenham, but Arsenal has shown an interest recently as well.

“I want to leave Zenit,” he said. “Until then I cannot say exactly what the club will be, but the proposals are still there. I will say I do not want to play in Italy, and the proposed Roma move is not being considered.”
