Greg Monroe, the Detroit Pistons first round pick, has undergone successful surgery to repair an issue with his right toe that apparently dates back to his days at Helen Cox High School.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Arthur Manoli at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, MI.

According to the press release, “Rehabilitation will begin immediately and [Monroe] is expected to resume full basketball activities in three to four weeks.”
