German World Cup stand out and Werder Bremen midfielder Mesut Ozil is about to become the most sought after transfer target of the summer for a fee of £15 million, according to the Daily Express.

The report follows with stating that his club Werder Bremen will entertain offers for the 21 year-old. With just a year left on his contract it seems the club realize that it will be difficult to recoupe more then £15m for the player that they signed from Schalke 04 for €4.3m (£3.6m) in 2008.

Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City have already voiced interest in the talented midfielder who shined this summer at the World Cup in South Africa.

German star Ozil who is Turkish by descent helped his country put both England and Argentina to the sword in the knockout stages of this past summer's World Cup. Now for that price a bidding war will most likely ensue, and Ozil just jumped to the top of the proverbial "board" of sought after summer transfer targets.
