Today I lost a great friend. Many of us take our pets for granted. We think they will always be there for us, wagging their tails, waiting on a hug or belly rub. We try not to think to much when they pass, but after all, they become part of who we are and part of our family.

This is my tribute to a great dog, a great protector of the yard, a great mother to her pups, and most of all a great companion and friend, Amidala.

I take time to honor her memory with those great animal in sport.
