Ranking the AFC North, Courtesy of Madden 2011: Defense

I recently wrote an article about the difference between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns, based on how the players on each team were rated in the EA Sports video game, Madden 11.

You can check it out here, if you would like.

In the comments, I was asked if I was going to be writing one for the rest of the AFC North.

That article took quite a while, and instead of doing one for the Ravens and one for the Bengals, I have decided to pull the AFC North together, and compare each of the teams.

Instead of rating each team based on points, the team that has the best player at each position will be awarded four points, second place will be awarded three points, third will get two, and the worst team will get one.

At the end of each slide show, I will calculate the total points, to see who Madden thinks is best.

The AFC North finished with three defenses in the top five of the NFL in 2009, so it will be interesting to see who EA Sports thinks will have the best defense in 2010.
